Throughout the lockdown in the UK Sterling Services have continued to manufacture precast for their project at the London Academy, Hackney.
This allowed install to commence on programme on 18th May. One of the key stones at the front of the building contains the City of London Emblem which was cast into the unit after taking a rubber moulding from an existing emblem.
This unit was installed in early June and really sets the building off. The primary façade consists of large double window storey height units with integral bricks, copings and cills. In two days we installed 9no. of these units comprising 325m2 of façade.
