Building No 4 of the Jersey International Finance Centre has taken shape with the help of Sterling Services who supplied the innovative façade method of construction, a first for Jersey. The Unitised curtain walling system devised by Haga and Schuco in Germany combines with pre-cast concrete units manufactured by Cameron’s sister company in the UK, Sterling Services. The façade panels, which have been shipped to the island and assembled on site requires no external scaffolding and has not been used in Jersey before. It has allowed islanders to watch the building take shape over the last few weeks and provides a quicker and more economical design.
