In December Sterling Services celebrated Christmas and the start of a transition from Joe Cefai to Chris Bell as Managing Director of the company. Joe is still a part of Sterling’s Senior Management team focusing his time on Sales and Client relationships. Chris has been with Sterling over the last two years and met Joe when he was working as a main contractor on a project with a complicated cladding system, proposed by the architect. ‘Joe came in and showed the team a better way to do it, his attitude was helpful and I liked his approach. We ended up appointing Sterling to do the complete design and facades, and it turned out better than the architect could have envisaged. I realised that Joe’s attitude reflected that of Sterling as a company; going that extra mile has been the key to the company’s success.’ And the rest is history....
